Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Get Job App and its associated services (“Platform”). By registering for, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

1. Definitions

“Platform” means the Get Job mobile app, website, web dashboard, and related recruitment services.
“User” means any person or organisation that uses the Platform, including Job Seekers and Employers.
“Job Seeker” refers to any person using the Platform to find job opportunities.
“Employer” means any person or business entity posting job opportunities or hiring through the Platform.
“Content” means any information, materials, or data submitted or displayed on the Platform.

2. Eligibility

By using the Platform, you confirm that you are legally permitted to seek employment or hire individuals under the laws of your region or country.
If you are under the age of 18, you confirm that you meet the minimum legal working age and have obtained any required parental or legal consent, work permits, or approvals applicable in your jurisdiction.
Employers must ensure all hires comply with local employment laws, including those relating to youth workers or apprentices.
Employers must be authorised to represent their respective organisations if it’s a registered business.
You warrant that all information you provide on the Platform is true, complete, and lawful, and that its use does not violate any applicable laws, including those of New Zealand, Australia, and the country or state in which you reside or operate.

3. Account Registration

You must register an account to use core services on the Platform.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Get Job is not responsible for unauthorised access resulting from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

4. Employers

You agree not to submit false, misleading, or plagiarised information, including in resumes or applications.
You acknowledge that job recommendations are algorithmically generated and not guaranteed to be suitable or result in employment.
You agree to use the Platform for genuine employment-seeking purposes only.

5. Employers

You agree to post genuine job vacancies only, and to treat all applicants fairly, without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, age, or other protected attributes.
You may only use candidate data for legitimate recruitment purposes.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legal compliance of all job postings and offers.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Premium features may be subject to fees.
All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Failure to settle dues may result in temporary or permanent suspension of services.

7. Privacy Policy & Data Usage

By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy (which forms part of this agreement).
We collect and store personal and professional data to deliver and improve our recruitment services.
Your information may be used for job matching, analytics, employer reporting, service optimisation, and promotional activities related to Get Job.
You consent to your data being processed, stored, and shared with third parties for operational and marketing purposes.
You may request to access or delete your data by contacting our support team, subject to legal obligations at info@get-jobai.com

8. Intellectual Property

All platform content (excluding user-submitted content) is the property of Get Job or its licensors.
You may not copy, reuse, distribute, or modify any part of the Platform without our written consent.
You retain ownership of your submitted content but grant Get Job a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, publish, and share it for service delivery and other company purposes.

9. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

Post fraudulent, misleading, obscene, defamatory, or discriminatory content.
Use the Platform to distribute spam or malware.
Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform.
Harvest or misuse personal data from other users.

10. Platform Access and Downtime

While we strive for continuous access, the Platform may experience interruptions due

11. Third-Party Services

The Platform may include links or integrations with third-party services.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by New Zealand and Australian law:

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of income, opportunity, or goodwill.
We do not guarantee the suitability, success, or legality of any employment outcome.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform will not exceed the greater of: NZD/AUD $ 100

13. Termination

Users may deactivate accounts at any time.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice.
Upon termination associated data will be retained for legal purposes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, or Australia if your use of the Platform originates there.

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Zealand or Australia, as applicable, for any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform.

If you are accessing the Platform from outside these countries, you are responsible for compliance with your local laws to the extent they apply, and you acknowledge that certain mandatory consumer protections under your local law may still apply despite this governing law clause.

15. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
The latest version will always be available within the App and on our website.
